Mitsuda Takuya, born June 17, 1965, is a manga artist born in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. He has published his works primarily in Shogakukan's manga magazine, Shounen Sunday. He is best known for his long-running baseball manga, "MAJOR" for which he won the Shogakukan Manga Award in 1996 in the shounen category. He apprenticed under Hidenori Hara alongside Shinobu Inokuma and his former assistants include Shun Matsuena and for two days Koji Kumeta.
