A young sprintcar driver from Toowoomba, Steve returns to Sydney to work with his father Ted and Tomas at T&T Towing and to race alongside his father. After discovering Ted has disappeared and learning of the criminals’ connection to his death, Steve joins Tomas and the tow-truck drivers in pursuing them. He also falls in love with Ruth and seeks to prove himself on the speedway.
