She made her television debut in 1963 with an appearance in the series Hafenpolizei and gained wider recognition through a recurring role in the crime series Cliff Dexter (1966–1967). In the early 1970s, Gross transitioned to cinema, appearing in a number of popular entertainment and sexploitation films typical of the era, including St. Pauli Nachrichten: Thema Nr. 1. Her acting career spans roughly two dozen productions, with her last known screen appearance in the mid-1970s.
