A Bosniak woman traveling through eastern Bosnia who is badly wounded by a mine explosion. Haunted by the wartime deaths of her parents and brother, she distrusts the armed men who offer help. Guided by her protective prayer, she hides, attacks one of the men, and ultimately kills both attackers while trying to survive and protect her injured companion.
