An Egyptian cinematographer, born in the Abdin area of Cairo in 1943, joined the Faculty of Arts at Cairo University for a period of three years, then dropped out and joined the Higher Film Institute and obtained a diploma in 1971 and also obtained a diploma from the American School of Modern Photography after studying for two and a half years by correspondence In 1969. He filmed many films for the Film Association in Cairo, and worked as director of filming in dozens of films.
