Also called Indu, she is the king's daughter and Ramudu's beloved. Her mother favors a marriage to Surasena, but Indumati wants to marry Ramudu, and the king eventually accepts her wishes. After Surasena gives the statuette to the sorcerer, Indumati refuses the sorcerer's proposal even while he holds Ramudu captive. She and Ramudu are united at the end.
