Biography

Perry Evans is a British gaffer. Born in West London, with early life in Notting Hill and Ladbroke Grove, he attended Henry Compton School in Fulham, and he lives in Staines-upon-Thames. He began his career in the late 1970s as an electrician apprentice at Lee Lighting. His early film credits include working as an electrician under gaffer Roy Rodhouse on Monty Python films such as Time Bandits (1981) and Brazil (1985), and also Withnail and I (1987). Over time, he progressed to the role of gaffer on high-profile productions.
