A medical student who returns to his childhood home to settle his grandfather's affairs, bringing two friends with him. He reunites with his ex-girlfriend Marlene, helps investigate the virus in Professor Bergen's lab, and tries to protect the people sheltering at the mansion. After escaping with Marlene, he is taken by soldiers for testing and warns that the virus cannot be stopped.
