Duke Fleed / Daisuke Umon (played by Kei Tomiyama) is a protagonist in UFO Robot Grendizer.
The sole surviving Crown Prince of the destroyed planet Fleed. He escapes the Vegan invasion, hides on Earth under the alias Daisuke Umon, and pilots the giant robot Grendizer to defend Earth. He initially clashes with Koji Kabuto but they become allies. After reuniting with his sister Maria and witnessing Princess Rubina's death, he leads the final assault against King Vega before returning to rebuild Fleed. A skilled pilot who returns to Japan in a self-designed flying saucer, the TFO, to investigate UFO sightings and seek peaceful alien contact.
