Shu Ouma (played by Yuki Kaji) is a protagonist in Guilty Crown.
High school student who gains the "Power of the King" to extract Voids after a vial shatters. Initially joins Funeral Parlor to rescue Inori and protect his friends, but deserts after a traumatic mission. Later returns to save his comrades, uncovers his sister Mana's connection to the Apocalypse Virus, and sacrifices himself to eradicate the plague. He later leads a resistance against GHQ's tyranny, ultimately saving Japan at the cost of his sight. Inori Yuzuriha (played by Ai Kayano) appears in Guilty Crown.
Vocalist of the internet group Egoist and a key member of Funeral Parlor. Shu extracts her Void weapon to fight GHQ. She uses her singing to temporarily reverse the Apocalypse Virus outbreak. Later revealed to be a vessel created for the soul of Shu's sister, Mana. Captured by GHQ, she ultimately sacrifices her body to permanently eradicate the virus, saving Shu and the world. Tsugumi (played by Ayana Taketatsu) appears in Guilty Crown.
