Plot Progression

1. A Mother Behind Glass — Carly learns that her comatose mother is active inside a Therapol simulation. She reluctantly enters the artificial childhood home and confronts Angela.
2. The Glitching Sanatorium — Carly returns to the simulation and reaches the sanatorium connected to Angela's past. Angela denies calling for Carly, then the simulation breaks down and the avian Demon attacks.
3. The Possession Theory — Martin interprets Carly's nightmares as evidence of demonic possession and describes a Vatican-backed operation. Carly remains doubtful while the Demon turns Sam into a weapon against her.
4. Blood At The Sanatorium — Carly and Martin rescue Sam and enter the sanatorium, where they find the covert squad destroyed. Dying Daniel reveals that Michael is possessed and gives Carly the holy lance.
5. The Lance And The Sacrifice — Carly reconciles with Angela inside the simulation, then confronts Michael and the Demon at the sanatorium. She allows the Demon to enter her before using the lance on herself to destroy it.
