Story Structure — 5 Plot Phases

Season 1: Return and Routine

The sextuplets try to adapt to contemporary life while facing unemployment, family friction, and one another's interference. Choromatsu's brief move toward employment and independence is reversed when the brothers return to their familiar group life.

Season 1: Separation and Reunion

The brothers briefly move out after Choromatsu finds work, leaving Osomatsu alone. They abandon their new lifestyles when invited to a baseball tournament, restoring the ensemble status quo.

Season 2: Family and Responsibility

The brothers continue their comic attempts at work and social life while family concerns surface. Matsuzou's hospitalization makes them consider proper jobs and supporting their family, before the season's plane-crash and Hell episode pushes events into absurd crisis.

Season 3: Reboot and Reflection

The season begins with a new incarnation and cycles through the brothers' expectations, comic routines, and personal encounters. Choromatsu's meeting with an old friend and the New Osomatsu revenge story provide more pointed moments amid the episodic comedy.

Season 4: Familiar Bonds, New Disruptions

The brothers share seasonal routines and surreal adventures, including alien trouble and a failed time-travel effort to recover a fan. Chibita's wish to close his stall and pursue charity creates a direct conflict with Osomatsu, while the season concludes with the sextuplets and friends performing original songs.
