The Twelfth Doctor is teleported into a shifting castle and immediately pursued by the Veil. He discovers the environment is a torture chamber designed specifically for him, filled with his own remains across countless cycles.

The Cycle of Sacrifice
The Doctor learns he has been imprisoned for 7000 years. Revitalized by a vision of Clara, he punches the wall, gets mortally wounded, and burns his body to restart the teleport, resetting the cycle.

Breaking the Confession Dial
After countless repetitions, the Doctor finally breaches the wall. He emerges outside the Capitol on Gallifrey, sends a message to the Time Lords, and reveals he is the prophesied Hybrid.

As Christmas approaches, the end is near for Billy and Marie's marriage until an eight-year-old runaway angel from heaven takes it upon herself to rekindle the love they once shared.
