Agni / Chandra / Bhim (played by Dayahang Rai) is a protagonist in White Sun.
Chandra is an anti-regime partisan who returns to his remote mountain village after nearly a decade away because of his father's death. He must carry the body toward the river for cremation, confront his opposing-side brother Suraj, and find outside help when tradition and conflict prevent the funeral from proceeding. Suraj (played by Rabindra Singh Baniya) appears in White Sun.
Suraj is Chandra's brother and fought on the opposing side during the Nepali Civil War. Their political differences remain unresolved as they attempt to carry their father's body down the mountain for cremation. Suraj eventually storms away in anger, leaving Chandra without enough male assistance to complete the funeral. Pooja (played by Sumi Malla) appears in White Sun.
