Plot Progression

1. The Vanished Archaeologist — Hopper investigates a remote cave while pursuing the trail of missing 1970s hippies. After finding a motionless cowboy, he dismisses Taylor and Jackie, then disappears.
2. Descent Without Return — Taylor and Jackie organize a search with Cara, Veeves, and Furby. The group enters the cave, but a frayed rope injures Taylor and Jackie and cuts off their route back.
3. The Cave Beyond Time — The group finds Furby's body and reviews his recordings. The evidence reveals that time passes far more slowly inside the cave than outside.
4. Visitors From Tomorrow — A futuristic humanoid arrives while cavemen attack the group. Taylor is killed, but the humanoid uses a healing pool and reveals that humanity has abandoned a dying Earth.
