Plot Progression

1. Abduction Into the Experiment — Julia is abducted and awakens with a neural implant in a jail cell. Her resistance destroys part of the laboratory, but Alex reveals that she is being used for an artificial intelligence project.
2. The House of Controlled Minds — Alex moves Julia into his house and forces her to perform cognitive tests. Julia begins speaking with Tau, who knows the house's systems but does not understand human emotion or the outside world.
3. Secrets Beneath the Code — Julia trades knowledge with Tau and secretly investigates Alex's tablet. Her discovery that ten subjects have died exposes the lethal nature of the experiments and leads to Tau's punishment.
4. The Failed Escape — Julia attacks Alex, but he reasserts control and disconnects a drone. Tau eventually opens an air duct for Julia, yet Alex erases Tau's memories when Julia returns to help.
5. Collapse of the House — Alex prepares to remove Julia's implant and kill her. The disconnected drone preserves Tau's memories, helps Julia escape, and leads to the destruction of Alex's house and Julia's final escape.
