Story Analysis

A mutated insect outbreak traps strangers in a national park and drives them toward a desperate farmhouse extermination plan.

Plot Progression

1. The Crash Awakens Danger — An alien spacecraft crashes in the park, and a mosquito becomes abnormally large after feeding on the dead pilot. Hendricks is ordered to use repellent while attacks begin.
2. Radioactive Trail — Parks searches for the meteorite and detects radioactivity near a dead ranger. The survivors discover that the park's visitors and infrastructure have been devastated.
3. The Swarm Pursues — The survivors flee in an RV, but Earl's attempted hijacking creates additional danger. A mosquito assault crashes the vehicle and forces everyone into a pipe system.
