Plot Progression

1. The Fallen Castle — Humble Joan's rebels besiege Dagan's castle with destructive powder. Dagan loses her guards, flees the carnage, and survives only because Shulmay rescues her.
2. Roadside Revelations — Shulmay promises that her cousins may provide an army, while Bobik joins the fugitives. She gradually reveals her history with Dagan's family and the dying queen's command.
3. Masks In The Woods — The trio struggle for money at the citadel and attract danger when Joan offers a reward for Dagan. After Leofwine's attack, Shulmay kills the advisor and creates a corpse decoy.
