Plot Progression

2. Marks Beneath the Eye — Returned to service, David investigates a dead illegal immigrant with unusual marks and electrical brain damage. The evidence gradually points back to Nicolov and a hidden victim connection.
3. The Twin and the Machine — David kills the apparent Nicolov during an escape attempt, only to learn that the victim was Nicolov's twin. The real Nicolov kidnaps David and uses the Chrysalis prototype to erase his memory.
