Plot Progression

1. Ashes Around the Statue — A museum warehouse burns, yet the statue survives. Curator Grove is killed while inspecting it, beginning a chain of unexplained deaths and calamities.
2. The Word That Awakens — Pimm's disturbing private life is revealed as he decorates his mother's corpse with museum jewelry. He finds the scroll and awakens the Golem with the word "emeth."
