Plot Progression

1. A Daughter Under Pressure — The Huns invade China, and the Emperor orders widespread conscription. Mulan fails the matchmaker's test and faces the prospect of her elderly father returning to war.
2. The Disguised Recruit — Mulan takes her father's sword and armor and enlists in his place. Mushu awakens and begins guiding her while she enters Shang's training camp under a false identity.
3. Fire Across The Mountains — Mushu's forged order sends Shang's unit toward the mountains, where they find the imperial army destroyed. Mulan triggers an avalanche during an ambush but is badly injured.
4. The Threat Returns — Mulan's identity is exposed, and Shang expels her instead of executing her. She then discovers that the enemy leader survived and races to warn the Imperial City.
5. Honor At The Palace — The surviving Huns seize the palace, but Mulan leads the counterattack. She defeats the enemy leader with Mushu's help, receives imperial honors, returns home, and restores Mushu's status.
