Plot Progression

1. The Broken Perimeter — The squad reaches the mountain approach and waits for delayed backup. Arango's impatience leads to a mine explosion that cripples Parra and destroys the primary radio.
2. The Empty Stronghold — The squad enters the damaged base and discovers that its supplies remain untouched. Fiquitiva finds ritual markings, and the soldiers uncover a bound prisoner hidden behind a recently built wall.
3. The Witch Log — Cortez reads the base log and learns how fear transformed the prisoner into a suspected witch. The sergeant is found dead, the prisoner has escaped, and the squad begins turning against itself.
4. Mist and Disintegration — Cortez leads an unauthorized patrol into the mist, where confused gunfire kills Arango. Authority collapses as the lieutenant is restrained and Fiquitiva becomes consumed by plague delusions.
