Tristan Thorn (played by Charlie Cox) is a protagonist in Stardust.
A young man from Wall who vows to retrieve a falling star for Victoria. He uses a Babylon candle to cross into Stormhold, chains Yvaine, and they journey together. After falling in love and learning Yvaine cannot survive crossing back, he abandons his promise to Victoria to save her. He allies with Septimus, helps defeat the witches, and ultimately becomes king of Stormhold with Yvaine as his queen. Yvaine (played by Claire Danes) is a protagonist in Stardust.
