Plot Progression

2. A Fragile Survivor Group — The survivors gather at a restaurant, but an unauthorized truck escape causes deaths. From a rooftop, they discover that the bugs are blind and track sound.
3. The Mutation Spreads — The group studies the bug venom and identifies the red gas around the hive. Their journey becomes more dangerous when Chad mutates, attacks them, and fatally wounds Susan while injuring Cooper.
4. Families Broken Apart — Cindy's jealousy helps the bugs capture Sara, while Albert mutates and is killed by Hugo. Cooper reaches Ethan, but hostile survivors capture them before Ethan turns the situation around.
