Plot Progression

2. Fire in the Sleeper Bay — A seismic fire destroys Cartwright's chamber just before the wake cycle ends. The workers activate emergency air and search for a replacement chamber.
3. The Price of Survival — The spare chamber nearly suffocates Bauer and is destroyed during the rescue. Bauer proposes sacrificing a sleeper, but Cartwright refuses and seeks another option.
