Plot Progression

1. Corporate Law Reborn — Detroit's crisis allows OCP to control the police. ED-209 fails publicly, giving Bob Morton an opportunity to present RoboCop.
2. Death Before Steel — Officer Alex J. Murphy is transferred into a violent environment and encounters Boddicker's gang. The gang kills Murphy, after which Morton turns his corpse into RoboCop.
3. A Machine Remembers — RoboCop begins an efficient crime campaign under programmed directives. Encounters with Antonowsky and Murphy's former home gradually restore his identity.
4. Directive Against Justice — RoboCop raids the cocaine factory and learns that Boddicker works for Jones. His attempt to arrest Jones is blocked by Directive 4, leading to coordinated attacks against him.
5. The Chairman's Verdict — Detroit collapses into violent disorder as the police strike and Jones arms Boddicker's gang. RoboCop survives the steel mill assault, exposes Jones, and reclaims the name Murphy.
