Plot Progression

1. Flight Toward Shelter — A young man flees across a wasteland and reaches a mental hospital. He asks for protection but refuses to explain his identity or his pursuer.
2. The Pursuer Appears — The hospital staff begin to notice the cloaked figure inside the grounds. The pursuer attacks the janitor and later demands that the young man be returned.
3. Paranoia Behind Walls — The young man's fear intensifies inside the hospital, while his drawing of the fallen tree becomes a disturbing visual reminder. Patients and staff also become alarmed by sightings around the building...
4. The Fatal Escape — The doctor announces a transfer, but the young man reaches the roof and later jumps from a hospital window. The doctor is unable to prevent the fatal outcome.
5. Funeral Through The Wasteland — The pursuer blames the doctor and returns with a funeral carriage. The coffin leaves the hospital as the drawing is removed and the carriage passes the fallen tree.
