Roat / Roat Jr. / Roat Sr. (played by Alan Arkin) is a protagonist in Wait Until Dark.
Roat is the threatening man who follows Lisa and seeks the heroin hidden inside the doll. He forces Mike and Carlino to help conceal Lisa's murder, repeatedly deceives Susy through disguises, and kills both men. Mike is a con artist who had been working with Lisa to hijack the heroin.
