A young woman manipulated and raped by Komarovsky, who marries Pasha Antipov. She enlists as a nurse, reunites with Yuri, and shares a deep romantic relationship with him during the Russian Civil War. After Komarovsky's escape offer, she leaves on a train pregnant by Yuri, later disappears, and possibly perishes in a gulag.
