A free-spirited woman who challenges Nelson's rigid lifestyle by asking him to spend a month with her during November. To spare Nelson from her impending death, she repeatedly asks him to leave, ultimately ending their relationship with a final kiss so he will remember her only through happy times while she returns home to face her last days.
