The 12-year-old orphan protagonist (later known as King Arthur). After accidentally shooting an arrow into the forest, he meets Merlin and undergoes magical learning experiences. He serves as a squire, unknowingly fulfills the prophecy by pulling the sword from the anvil, and is crowned king.
