Kathy's childhood friend and eventual romantic partner. Initially partnered with Ruth, he later joins Kathy. Convinced that his artwork can prove his soul and earn a deferral, he creates pieces hoping for mercy. After learning the truth from Madame and Emily, he dies on his fourth donation.
