A divorced father who moves to a rural area with his new wife and baby. Initially dismissive of his son Willy's warnings about a supernatural creature, he later realizes the truth after police suspect him in Tommy's disappearance. He escapes through underground tunnels and ultimately teams up with Willy to detonate explosives, destroying the monster.
