Bride-to-be whose wedding day is derailed by a jealous suitor and a pickpocket. After falsely believing her groom betrayed her, she attempts suicide and hires the pickpocket as an assassin. Upon learning the truth, she changes her mind, disguises herself in a man's suit to evade her killer, and is ultimately saved when the pickpocket repents and returns the stolen gifts.
