The main antagonist and Sumithra's cousin who also desires her hand in marriage. He exploits Balu's false theft accusation to drive a wedge between the lovers, hires goons to attack them, and frames Balu. For revenge, he paralyzes Paattiamma and plots to kill Sumithra to seize their colony. He ultimately meets his demise in a stampede.
