A balloonist traveling with his partner Giovanni. He helps locate the sunken Arianna wreck from the air before their balloon catches fire during a volcanic explosion. They survive by jumping into the sea and are later rescued. He ultimately survives the final tsunami aboard the Batavia Queen.
