A balloonist and companion to Leoncavallo Borghese. He assists in aerial reconnaissance, successfully spotting the Arianna wreck before their balloon is set ablaze by volcanic activity. Both balloonists survive the fall into the sea and eventually make it off the island safely. He survives the tsunami on the ship.
