Xiao Dongbei's elderly, ailing father and a veteran of the Boxer Rebellion. Initially senile, he accidentally ruins a rebel mission at a party. Later captured by the Japanese, he miraculously regains his youth's combat skills to overpower soldiers and save his son and the rebels, ultimately sacrificing himself to a stray bullet.
