A shallow and snobbish friend of Muriel who marries Chook. After discovering Muriel's involvement, she and her friend group ostracize Muriel. Tania later attends Muriel's elaborate Sydney wedding as a bridesmaid and is present when they visit Porpoise Spit, where she is shocked and angered by Rhonda's confrontation.
