A Navajo man who runs a desert ranch and provides shelter and food to the fugitive couple. Sensing evil in Mickey, he attempts a spiritual exorcism while Mickey sleeps. Mickey wakes from nightmares and shoots him dead, after which the couple suffers severe rattlesnake bites.
