A nine-year-old boy who accidentally receives the real koala Ozzie after a bag switch on a plane. He befriends the talking koala, faces blame at home and school, and recruits his friends to rescue Ozzie from the villainous toy company. He ultimately travels back to Australia to reunite Ozzie with his original owner.
