Molly's eldest son who becomes a reforming lawyer. Elected mayor, he campaigns against corruption, targeting brother Dion's operations. He marries Dion and Belle deceptively, then fights Dion. During the Great Chicago Fire, he attempts to create a firebreak by dynamiting buildings to protect the gasworks. He is shot and killed by Warren's thugs while executing this mission, sacrificing himself for the city.
