The emotionally neglected wife of a Sacramento farm owner. Initially prejudiced against Chu Chu, she develops an unrequited attraction and attempts to seduce him. During a violent argument with her husband, she accidentally triggers a firearm that wounds him. She participates in the false accusation against Chu Chu but later reconciles with her husband and joins him in confessing the truth to clear his name.
