Jan's uncle and a high-ranking Nationalist general. He saves Jan from execution in exchange for a covert mission. Aware of the SS experiments and the subsequent outbreak, he tries to protect his nephew and delay a German bombing raid, but is executed by the SS commander for insubordination.
