Dell's local beau and a local trooper who suspects the newcomers. He pursues Connor and Gamble after their crimes are exposed. During the confrontation, he stops Gamble's attack on Connor, fatally shoots Gamble, and escorts the wounded Connor back to the ranch, securing his pardon.
