Mastermind of an insurance fraud scheme who fakes his death and assumes the alias Jim Jerome in Spain. He becomes paranoid about investigator Stephen, attacks his wife in a church, steals a plane, and ultimately crashes into the sea while lamenting that his new identity is uninsurable.
