A model for Millais and Rossetti. Suffers from poor health and stomach pains, leading to laudanum addiction. She marries Rossetti but becomes increasingly hysterical due to his infidelity and her drug use. Ultimately dies from a laudanum overdose, prompting Rossetti to bury his unpublished poems in her grave.
