A newly arrived chest surgeon who joins Hawkeye and Duke as part of the Swampmen. He actively participates in pranks, military protocol, and heavy drinking. He and Hawkeye fly to Japan to play golf, perform unauthorized operations, and sedate the hospital commander with anesthetic gas to blackmail him.
