The son of Inspector McArthur who becomes romantically involved with Rose. Targeted for murder by Chuck Gaines and Bing Murdock due to jealousy, he is warned and hidden by Rose. In self-defense, he kills Chuck Gaines when Gaines breaks into his hideout, then confesses to his father, ultimately gaining his blessing for the relationship.
