Confederate cavalry captain who raids Union supplies and impersonates a Union officer to negotiate with Apache Chief Grey Cloud. He is the estranged brother of Union Colonel Jeb Britton and Julie's former fiancée who left her to join the Confederacy. He attempts to free imprisoned Apaches, leads a charge to save the town, and ultimately reconciles with his brother before retreating.
